Windjammer Grill Lake Monroe

Food was good! Service (Carrie was good. She was very busy, running everywhere, but we still had good service. Even joked with her about her multiple good reviews :

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! It is under new management and staff and it shows! Food quality was excellent and priced like all other quality lake side restaurants. The coconut shrimp, fries and cole slaw were very good. The servers were very attentive and the head chef came by to make sure we were completely satisfied. The view of the lake from the restaurant was beautiful and the landscaping was amazing. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated with that 'beachy ' vibe. I don 't often give 5 stars but this one earned it. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant has a new chef, and the new menu is excellent! If you haven’t tried it yet in 2022, you have to go! The ahi tuna tacos and chicken tacos were fresh and tasty. The beer cheese pretzel was huge, soft and the cheese was just the right consistency for dipping. The mozzarella cheese sticks were battered perfectly.

The drinks were good. The food was delicious! The service was slow. It was 90 minutes for the 4 of us to get a drink and lunch.

I would of given a zero if I could. Recently I went to the Windjammer and was sat at a table. 20 mins passed an no server came too our table. Folks next to us came in and get seated 10 mins after us and get a server right away. We asked the waitress if someone was coming to our table. She said she would get someone and get back to us. No one ever came. They were not busy maybe 6 other tables eating. We dediced to leave and will never be back. I recommend others to do the same. Definately not managed well. Go eat elsewhere...well if u want a place to sit and be left alone this is the place to go too. They are great at that from my experience!!
