I've tasted some truly amazing ribs as well as some disappointing ones, and unfortunately, my experience today leaned toward the latter. The ribs were dry, tough, and chewy, which made for a less-than-enjoyable meal. Right from the start, I was let down when I opened my box to find a prepackaged corn muffin instead of something fresh. While the ribs looked appealing at first, that was about the only highlight; they lacked moisture, had little smoke flavor, and were difficult to chew. Additionally, the beans were overly sweet for my taste. On a positive note, the sauces were decent. However, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won't be returning. The brisket was outstanding, while the pul... read more For a birthday gathering, we ordered the Meat Sweat Pack 2 from Smokestack Express and swapped the meatloaf for ribs. The brisket was outstanding, while the pulled pork was very good, and opinions on the meatloaf varied—some loved it, and others found it just okay. The side dishes were fantastic: we enjoyed mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw. We even had leftovers after feeding 12 people! We can't wait to try more from the menu. Service was great for takeout, and we found the meal to be very reasonably priced. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

Every visit leaves me wondering how it could possibly improve, and yet it always does! The complimentary ice cream cones after the meal are a delightful and considerate added touch.
