I visit KFC quite often because their sandwiches are better than anything else in the city—they’re always hot and juicy. However, I was disappointed with both the regular and crispy chicken on the menu; they lacked any flavor! Having tried KFC in other cities, I can say this location doesn’t live up to the original recipe. It’s missing the signature KFC taste. On the bright side, the staff were friendly and efficient. I just hope they fix the large pothole in the driveway soon.
The parking entrance is poorly designed and could easily damage a car if you're not careful. There's a missing sign, and weeds are growing in the parking lot. I went to get a drink and was bombarded by a swarm of gnats around the drink station; I had to blow them away just to fill my cup. My spicy chicken strips were sitting in a quarter-inch puddle of grease, and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. I was torn between enjoying my meal and being disgusted by the overall state of the place, which felt like it hadn't been updated since the 1990s. It's clear that the owners of this franchise don't care about this location. It's unfortunate that reviews like this have to be written, but it seems that KFCs everywhere are declining in quality. I think I'm done with KFC! The food may taste decent, but I can't risk getting sick. If the front looks this bad, I can only imagine what's happening in the back.
