I ordere... read more I can't understand why this place isn't more popular. My husband and I went there for dinner a week ago and we were the only people in the dining room. I ordered a chili relleno with rice and beans. It was different from the usual chile rellenos I've had before - the chef stuffed the pepper with cheese and then served it in a pocket of eggs cooked like a pancake. It was delicious! My husband had the steak fajitas, which were cooked in a tasty marinade and the portion was very generous. And all of this cost us less than $20. Yum!

Despite the name not sounding very authentic, you can see Eric's photo and read his story on the back of the menu. He is Hispanic, and so are his recipes. Initially, I was disappointed to find out that the chips and salsa were not complimentary like in many Mexican restaurants nowadays. However, after trying them, I realized they were unlike any other and well worth the small $2.75 charge. Honestly, the freshly fried chips and house-made salsa were the best I have ever tasted. The entrees were just as impressive, with Eric's giant burrito and tostadas topped with fresh sliced avocados (we went meatless this time). You can also add a meat topping if desired. Both dishes were flavorful and served in generous portions. We will definitely be returning. I've heard the breakfast here is delicious too!
