Feedback
Eric's restaurant presents a varied culinary experience, where diners enjoy everything from delicious steak chimichangas to intriguing breakfast tacos. While some guests rave about the homemade food, including flavorful tamales and generous portion sizes at reasonable prices, others express disappointment with underwhelming dishes like tough fajitas and poorly executed chicken nuggets. Customer service received praise, particularly for friendly staff, and the inviting neighborhood ambiance adds to its charm. However, issues with order processing and restaurant accessibility have marred the experience for some. Ultimately, Eric's offers a blend of genuine flavors, albeit with some inconsistencies, making it a hit-or-miss spot.
Try to experience the food in the area at 5 pm, but the restaurant is closed, in Google says that closes at 10 a.m. WTH with the restaurants here in the area
The steak was delicious, but the chicken was lacking in flavor. The chips were disappointing and both the chips and chimichangas seemed to be fried for too long. The margarita was also not very good.
I can't understand why this place isn't more popular. My husband and I went there for dinner a week ago and we were the only people in the dining room. I ordered a chili relleno with rice and beans. It was different from the usual chile rellenos I've had before - the chef stuffed the pepper with cheese and then served it in a pocket of eggs cooked like a pancake. It was delicious! My husband had the steak fajitas, which were cooked in a tasty marinade and the portion was very generous. And all of this cost us less than $20. Yum!
So after two visits and an attempted 3rd visit, it’s time to leave my review and never think about going back to this place again. 1st Visit- Miller Park location We just moved to the area in May and started checking out local Mexican restaurants. Wewent to Eric’s next to Miller Park on a Friday evening, their restaurant side was closed leaving only the bar side open. Thebartender was really nice and made us some awesome margaritas. It was lonely in there and she was going to close early. She wasamazing, I forgot her name, but she took care of us. The food was not so great, I ate it and didn’t complain. I had steakenchiladas, the sauce and flavor was there but the carne asada was old, crispy and burnt. Overall customer service was 5stars. 2nd Visit- Eric’s 2 off Market St Pulled up to this place about 10:30am on a Sunday. Parking lot trashed and litteredwith beer cans and broken beer bottles. We walk in, sit down and order mimosas. We asked why the parking lot was trashed, thewaitress said the staff had a late night party the night before. The waitress was kind but she didn’t know what a Mimosa was.??????? so I said it’s champagne and OJ. She said she was out of OJ so I said make it with cran juice. She comes back withcognac in a wine glass with cran juice. ????????????. She said the bottle read it was a champagne ????????????. So I let it goand drank it. The menu did not look appetizing at all, place was lonely just like the Miller park location. After seeing theparking lot, the menu and the so called mimosa, we paid our tab and left. Attempted visit number 3- Miller Park location TodayI called the restaurant at 6:30pm to see if they were open, I wanted to go back for the drinks and friendly service from thatgirl lol, not the food. I spoke to who I assume was the owner, I asked if they were open, he replied that the kitchen was closedand that he had his friends at the bar and was closing the doors. ??????? I guess I’m not going there today or pr
