So after two visits and an attempted 3rd visit, it’s time to leave my review and never think about going back to this place again. 1st Visit- Miller Park location We just moved to the area in May and started checking out local Mexican restaurants. Wewent to Eric’s next to Miller Park on a Friday evening, their restaurant side was closed leaving only the bar side open. Thebartender was really nice and made us some awesome margaritas. It was lonely in there and she was going to close early. She wasamazing, I forgot her name, but she took care of us. The food was not so great, I ate it and didn’t complain. I had steakenchiladas, the sauce and flavor was there but the carne asada was old, crispy and burnt. Overall customer service was 5stars. 2nd Visit- Eric’s 2 off Market St Pulled up to this place about 10:30am on a Sunday. Parking lot trashed and litteredwith beer cans and broken beer bottles. We walk in, sit down and order mimosas. We asked why the parking lot was trashed, thewaitress said the staff had a late night party the night before. The waitress was kind but she didn’t know what a Mimosa was.??????? so I said it’s champagne and OJ. She said she was out of OJ so I said make it with cran juice. She comes back withcognac in a wine glass with cran juice. ????????????. She said the bottle read it was a champagne ????????????. So I let it goand drank it. The menu did not look appetizing at all, place was lonely just like the Miller park location. After seeing theparking lot, the menu and the so called mimosa, we paid our tab and left. Attempted visit number 3- Miller Park location TodayI called the restaurant at 6:30pm to see if they were open, I wanted to go back for the drinks and friendly service from thatgirl lol, not the food. I spoke to who I assume was the owner, I asked if they were open, he replied that the kitchen was closedand that he had his friends at the bar and was closing the doors. ??????? I guess I’m not going there today or pr
I heard good things about this restaurant so we decided to try it for the first time. The only positive thing that I have to say is the waiter was so nice! We ordered steak fajitas, famous Eric’s burrito, what was supposed to be kids meals Mac n cheese &soft shell beef taco, chicken nuggets and fries. The menu did not have kids meals listed but claimed to be a family restaurant. The steak was so tuff that it couldn’t be chewed, beef tasted old and chicken nuggets were the worst thing I’ve ever tasted.Walked out spending $78 for not even half eaten meals! We will NOT be returning nor recommend this test to anyone.
They don’t deserve any stars but I’m leaving one to leave a comment. We placed an online order for a few tacos. Got there to pick up the order and they were CLOSED 2 hours before they were supposed to be. But they took my money anyway. We figured it wasan error in their system and the money would be returned since the order never really got processed. The next day still no moneywas returned, not even by the end of the day. We tried calling all day the next day with no answer just to find out they wereclosed then too. I don’t understand how they can process an order and take your money when they are closed. We had to call thebank and dispute the charge to get our money back.
