I went to this restaurant with the anticipation of trying their enchiladas and was really looking forward to it. But the moment I stepped through the door the staff was very rude. No one addressed me I had to ask to be served and was told they were too busy! Therefore, I left and highly unlikely to ever return. View all feedback.
In a residential area of Bloomington, you'll find great food and excellent service at El Loro. Stop by for warm chips and salsa, tasty meals, and a delicious margarita!
Overall, I would rate El Loro around 3.5 to 4 stars. The portion sizes are decent for the price, but the taste is just okay—nothing particularly memorable. The drinks are good, and I appreciated the chips and salsa that were served as I sat down. I do think the service could be improved, and I would prefer fresher tortillas and meat that isn’t so dry. However, I understand that COVID has affected many aspects of dining, so I'm willing to give them some grace.
