The ambience is great; although, my youngest and I both thought it felt cool inside. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and attentive. I shared the pork steamed buns with my husband and oldest daughter. They were delicious. My husband went out of his comfort zone and got the cold noodles. He did not like them at all. The waitress did try to subtly warn him saying they weren't for her, but a lot of people order them. My oldest daughter got the Farm-2-face rolls and found them kinda bland. I got the pork belly ramen...it was ok. I've had melt-in-your-mouth pork belly before and this was not it. The pork belly wasn't bad, it was just ok. My first piece was fatty and a bit chewy. The other pieces were better but that first bite turned me off to eating a lot more of it. My youngest order items from the epiphany menu, which seems to have better food. The fries were great. She doesn't like spice so didn't like the little bit of chili seasoning. She also got the fried rice (without kimchi...poor girl doesn't know what's she's missing). It had a nice flavor, just a little spicy for her palate. I would not call there food small plates, they had large, generous portions.
This restaurant is fantastic! The atmosphere is lively, and I especially enjoyed the round table that comfortably seated our group of 8. The service was fast, although it was disappointing that our entrees were brought out separately instead of all at once. I tried the pickle martini and found it to be delicious without an overpowering pickle flavor. However, my main course, the ramen, was bland. The broth tasted like plain water, and I felt I could have made better ramen at home. The pizza I tasted was also just average. I would return to this restaurant for drinks, but I would not recommend it for the food.
I ordered my food and it was delivered late. I arrived 5 minutes early to ensure I received my food hot, but unfortunately, I had to wait over half an hour to receive my order. The food arrived cold and the rice was undercooked. I found half-cooked rice in my sushi, which was not enjoyable. Additionally, I had ordered vegetable dumplings but received pork dumplings instead. As someone who cannot eat pork for religious and personal reasons, this was disappointing. I was unable to eat half of my order due to these issues. The only saving grace was the fried chicken, which was delicious. This is not the first time my order has been incorrect or the food quality has been subpar. Sadly, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
Recently visited this restaurant and I was absolutely amazed the food and the service was wonderful Chloe who was our server was exceptionally amazing she was so delightful and pleasant and we couldn’t have asked for a better waitress not one time did wehave to wait for our drinks to get filled or for her to be right there with a smile and just so nice and explained everything tous even the history of the restaurant. Chloe you were awesome we will definitely be back especially because of the amazingservice she provided!
While the ramen is nicely assorted and beautifully presented, for those who've eaten in many ramen restaurants, the ramen here in my opinion is a 2.5 out of 5 stars. The pork was too chewy and fatty, it seemed like the meat was cooked or boiled quicklyso the pork never became tender nor soft, and the fats were solid and had an icky texture. As for the broth, it was closer to avegetable soup rather than a pork based broth. The mushrooms and daikon radish overtook the flavors of the other ingredients soramen tasted mainly like mushrooms and daikon. Overall, unless you are a fanatic vegetable lover, you should not order theramen. Rather, I recommend the pizzas, as they taste pretty good. The service here is the reason why I give it a 4, the serversand bartenders tend to want your meal experience to be a good one. They provide additional information about the local area andare knowledgeable in the food that they like in the restaurant.
