Beautiful hotel. Extremely clean. Staff couldn't fault them! Especially Rose on reception, she went over and above to sort our booking. Breakfast is to die for everything cooked fresh and the orange juice is just divine. Christies bar the food is fabulous everything cooked fresh and great staff! All round a little hidden gem. A visit to blarney Castle is a must and kiss the blarney Stone if you are brave enough! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about The Mill:
I have been there for a tea for The location is breathtaking and well decorated for the Halloween period but... The staff is not the most friendly one and in regards to the tea itself I had some issues: there is no choice of teas, you can only have the classic one. the sandwiches and desserts were super cold like they just came out of the fridge. the seats were super uncomfortable. I was given a huge armchair which i... View all feedback.
Booked the function room for a family event. Very nice setup and food and very reasonably priced.
The building and grounds are beautiful, the room was big and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for a relaxing day in Blarney. My only complaint is the extremely slow wifi. I know it’s petty, but we had no phone service and were trying to plan our day and each webpage took several minutes to load on the wifi network. Backing up pictures we had taken that day was impossible. It would have been better to not offer it at all because it made for an extremely frustrating night in what was otherwise a very impressive hotel.
Had a wonderfull weekend here. The room was perfect, the Lobby is spacious, right next door to the Best Shop in Cork. Blarney Woolen Mills has everything you'd need. Christy's Bar was magic and a fun filled live Band for the whole week end. Well done to the Staff. You are ALL brilliant. See you again soon.
Lovely tasty food. Clean rooms with tea coffee and biscuits. Very friendly helpful staff. Definitely hope to go back again.
Very comfortable and well-maintained rooms. Breakfast is served in the neighboring restaurant and includes a buffet and a selection of hot dishes from the à la carte menu (included). The breakfast is very generous, but the quality of the ingredients could be improved: the avocado toast is really not good, the omelet is super greasy, etc. Perhaps it would be ideal to have fewer choices (8 or 9 à la carte dishes) but better quality.
