Loved it! The hotel has a lovely vibe with lots of areas to sit and enjoy your coffee. Newly renovated room with comfortable beds. The shower was fantastic with really good water pressure. Would definitely stay again.
Nice place, rooms small and you eat your dinner in the adjacent pub and breakfast in the adjacent cafe. An interesting stay, very tourist oriented so prices are inflated. But a nice comfortable stay all the same
Wonderful location, rooms starting to show some age, incredible breakfast. You can't beat the location of this hotel in the heart of Blarney, within easy walking distance of the castle, and attached to some wonderful restaurants, cafes, and wool shop. The hotel is quite nice, but after a few nights of our 5 night stay, we started to notice how the rooms are starting to show their age. Very minor amounts of mold in the bathrooms, around the doors the paint was starting to chip away, etc. Overall, very minor things that could use a touch of updating, but did not in any way affect our comfort. The breakfast is an amazing spread of cold and hot dishes! The service was always very attentive and helpful. Wish we could keep eating breakfast this way beyond our holiday! Would recommend this hotel!
Minor issue about the reception. We went there at past 2:30pm but told that checkin was 3pm however the first couple infront of us was able to get theirs early, the was she spoke was also unpleasant. Then when we came back at 3pm we had to queue again. After that a senior lady checked us in, asked for the country and we said Ireland. And she said, You don 't sound Irish . Maybe she meant nationality? But still comment like that was unnecessary and racist. But other than that minor incident, we enjoyed the stay, room was comfy and relaxing. Emailed a complaint on their website already yesterday.
