The portion sizes w... read more I recently ordered takeout from Lily's in The Square in Rosscarbery. While there isn't much competition in the area, the food was fantastic. The portion sizes were generous and packed with flavor. They don't skimp on the ginger in their dishes, which I love. The spare ribs were so filling, they could almost be a meal on their own. They were the best spare ribs I've ever had, hands down. I highly recommend trying them.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to get some food to enjoy in our room while watching a movie. The restaurant is situated in the main square of Rosscarbery. For starters, we ordered BBQ spare ribs which were tender and plentiful for two adults. Our main dishes, prawn satay and prawn Szechuan with noodles and fried rice, came in large plastic containers filled with a delicious mix of vegetables, sauce, and generous portion of prawns. The noodles had a variety of chopped vegetables like carrots, onions, and bamboo, and were tasty enough to be enjoyed on their own. Despite the large portions, we still had leftovers, showcasing the value for money. I would highly recommend this takeout option to anyone, just be sure to ask for chopsticks or cutlery when picking up your food as they are not automatically provided. We forgot and had to improvise with teaspoons while eating our noodles, which was quite amusing!

Not expensive, great service we enjoyed the experience so returned on the 18th. Ample parking on the square in Rosscarbery, worth visiting.
