Jessie has recently taken over the newly renovated Deck restaurant. She brings her experience as a sous chef in Las Vegas, Venice, and Burbank to our small community. The cuisine is world-class and simply spectacular!

Our rental was just a short distance from The Deck restaurant. We were aware that they had recently undergone a major renovation and had recently reopened. We decided to treat ourselves to some after-dinner ice cream, and we were delighted that we did. The ice cream was delicious and they offer unique and creative Waffle Wave cones. My favorite was the blueberry flavor. The location of the restaurant is also fantastic, with a large deck overlooking Mahone Bay. The view from the deck is unbeatable. In addition to the great food and view, the customer service was excellent. The staff was courteous and friendly, and we even had a nice conversation with the owner. We highly recommend visiting The Deck and enjoying the experience for yourself!

We dined at this restaurant on our last night in Nova Scotia to celebrate our 30-year anniversary, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff, who were all young and friendly, made our meal even more enjoyable. The beautiful waterfront view added to the amazing dining experience, and they even went above and beyond to help us celebrate. Don't forget to try the Waffle Wave for dessert!

I actually haven't eaten here lately, but I have eaten here several times over the past few years.

This was such a fun highlight for my husband and I. We both had fish stew with thick slices of homemade bread. The stew is so delicate. Just marvelous. When we pulled up, we were a bit confused as we didn't know this place is a diner/convenience store. Our hostess/cook was nice and told us the owner has been making this recipe of fish stew for over 20 years now... then she politely declined to share the recipe when we asked. This meal is one we will mention with great fondness to each other whenever we reminisce about our adventure in Nova Scotia.*the ceiling of this place has many dish towels & scarves from places all over the world draped across...very fun.
