What Roy M doesn't like about Rebecca's Restaurant:
The new owner is desperate for money and it tells , I used to go every night and now I’m done. The kitchen has 0 quality checks and they will send anything out hoping people will accept. I think is because they let all the staff go that had been there forever. View all feedback.

5 stars for location with a pretty view of Mahone Bay. However, sitting on the deck was noisy with motorbikes and passing vehicles. I recommend sitting inside on a busy day. We ordered the fish cakes of the day. The menu said they were made wirh spiced haddock, risotto, and pineapple. They were the strangest tasting fish cakes were ever had because all four of us couldn 't find the fish in the fish cake. It had the spice , definitely the mushy risotto, and we tasted more pineapple than anything. But where was the fish? It wasnt tasty, frankly, and certainly fitted for a vegan type meal. The house salad was just a bunch of ordinary greens commonly found at your local grocery store with 2 slices of radish, some green peas, some shredded red cabbage and carrot. The dressing was tasty however as were the pickles. Service was fairly good for a busy Sunday. Our water was topped up but not cold the second time around. No additional ice was offered. My husband remarked he has been to Rebecca 's two times.. The first and the ĺast. That statement sums up our groups experience.
Yesterday was my first visit to Rebecca's Restaurant and it won't be my last. Our party had some shared appetizers and then main courses, and everything was simply terrific. Great and friendly service, reasonably prices, and while it might have been busy, we were so busy enjoying our friendships and our food we honestly didn't notice the rest of the world--but it seemed the tables are spaced well enough and the place is sort of sectioned so that you can't really notice others. There's also a big deck but we prefer to eat indoors in air conditioning. HIGHLY recommended. I had the mac and cheese, and brought most of the portion home to have tonight for supper. Delicious and generous servings. And great service, as I mentioned about. Only one photo because we were so busy chatting we all forgot to take photos!
Good food, good service and lovely to sit outside on the patio in the sun. Really enjoyed the lunch. Thank you!
