Jomo lights up any conversation he’s a part of! I’m not even a huge coffee n but I could sit at his shop and watch him do his thing all day. He’s a well loved and respected member of the Black Mountain community. Definitely stop by next time you’re in town!

My daughter and I stayed in Asheville for 3 weeks. We came to Cup of Jomo almost every day. They have the best coffee I've ever had as well as the friendliest staff. The Cafe Miel was my favorite drink, but they are all delicious! We are going to miss Joe, Lisa and Ava and we can't wait to visit again.

What a great find every time. This sweet little coffee shop does a great job, balancing simplicity and uniqueness. They have a niche and they fill it well. Lots of delicious options on the menu. From tea, tea lattes, local, drip coffee, and specialty items, they have it all. Love their specialty options but I'm much more of a basic b I always go for the drip coffee or an oat milk latte with two stevias. And it's always made perfectly.I like that this shop opens up to a community space. There is a nice outdoor store and a bar in the same area. Personally, much more appealing in the warm weather but that's just because I'm a wimp. The feel of the coffee shop, and overall area is very inclusive and welcoming. That's a neighborhood win.

Cup of jomo is worth the visit for three key reasons:1) delicious homemade syrups that are flavorful without being overly sweet2) a laidback outdoor setting3) fantastic service from jomo himself or another friendly barista
