Located in the bustling heart of Narborough, this pub boasts a charmingly old-fashioned decor with wooden seats that exude a nostalgic charm. The interior is spacious and inviting, with a large car park available at the back for convenience. The menu offers a good variety of dishes at reasonable prices, with the option of getting two meals for just £7. While the food was delicious and served hot, the only drawback was the slow service, with wait times sometimes reaching up to an hour. It's worth noting that children are welcome before the 8pm cut-off time, but it may not be ideal for younger guests due to potential long wait times.

I have visited this pub for the second time now, and once again I had to wait several minutes to be served. Despite this, the pub offers a nice selection of guest ales that are kept and served well. The only downside is the slow service from the bar staff.

Nice traditional atmosphere and building, just next to the train station. They show sky sports, but the rest of the time it's a quiet, friendly place. Beer is excellent: good range of real ales with guests, and the food is OK (but nothing special). Bar staff are always very friendly.

Good selection of ales and great menu, serving good quality food with generous helpings at a reasonable price. We try other pubs but come back here often for a reliable meal. Surroundings are olde worlde and have received a refurbishment recently. Relaxed atmosphere, they dont have lots of staff (would you want to pay more for your food/drink just so they can employ more staff? so with a little patience you'll soon be enjoying a good drink with an excellent meal that cost very little! Highly recommended, the current management are always working to improve, just give them a try!
