From the m... read more My wife and I, both food enthusiasts, were struggling to find a special venue for a night out with eight friends until we rediscovered Badgers Mount. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated by Sharon in the beautifully decorated dining rooms. We were torn between the Chateaubriand and the Dover Sole, but ended up sharing the Chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection and served with delicious homemade chips, onion rings, and garnished with a flat mushroom and tomato. It was truly one of the best meals we've had in years. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert but enjoyed coffees with homemade shortbread biscuits. With drinks included, our bill came to £70. While it may not be the cheapest night out, the impeccable service, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional food make it well worth the price. After our meal, I learned about Chef/Owner Glenn Watson's impressive culinary background, having worked with renowned chefs and at prestigious establishments. We are already looking forward to returning with our friends in March to share this wonderful experience with them. I highly recommend Badgers Mount for a delightful dining experience.

We dined here as a family on Saturday, in terms of service they tried but it was all a bit tis was, the food order taken before we were even asked what we wante... read more We dined here as a family on Saturday, in terms of service they tried but it was all a bit tis was, the food order taken before we were even asked what we wanted to drink! The food was hit and mis, portions were a decent size, chips were under cooked (rock hard), I mean how do you get chips wrong! They offered to replace them but I didn't want to wait as I had already started eating my steak which was delicious. I didn't have a dessert but sampled the others, again hit and miss. Sticky toffee pudding lovely creme brulee inedible. Over priced as well for what it was.
