We placed an order online... read more Extremely Childish people and absolutely ridiculous service provided. I hate writing negative reviews. However this needs to be said. We placed an order online with Seavers today, when the order arrived, the driver apologised and informed us, that the drinks had exploded in his bag. All the food was soaked in coke, the driver bless him didn 't know what to do and his bag was leaking all over the front door step the carpet and the front porch as he tried to get my sister to take our food order out of his bag. I refused after mopping up the coke and realising the paper was ripping off the food and I asked him if he could take all the food back as this was unacceptable. He was so co-operative in taking back the order which I appreciate. We told him we will ring the restaurant and explain everything. The customer service lady who my sister spoke to seemed to understand our situation and agreed to ring my sister back after 10 minutes, which she did but instead of resolving the issue for us, she refused to send a fresh new order out to us 'oh get your money back from justeat ' she said, she became quite snappy, when my sister calmly asked why she said she would have to re cook everything and we would have to pay for it again, as its the drivers fault not theres. Before my sister could respond she got frustrated and put the phone down. My sister rang back no answer then her number got blocked. I tried ringing several times same thing happened with me. Look I understand the weather is disgustingly hot right now, the distance whatever the case maybe. However we paid for our food order and a service, none of which was provided, regardless of how far the distance is, unfortunately the food order was not in any acceptable condition. Would you eat food all covered and soaked in hot coke? Instead of taking accountability you guys disconnected your number. Like whattt I have never come across such extreme immature behaviour and service. All we wanted was our food order. Please learn to deal with any situations fairly, professionally and in a reasonable manner. I will not be ordering from here again.

Had a chicken piece and chips one time and... read more Been going here for many years, not sure what’s changed, if anything has changed but food quality isn’t what is was. Had a chicken piece and chips one time and a mixed kebab from there more recently both times gone through me like a freight train! Don’t get me wrong, I expect some loose movement after a kebab goes without saying but not like I experienced I was ill. Think I’ll have to find another chippy!

Due to nit being able to award half stars I struggled to decide if this chippy deserved 3 or 4 stars, I have always thought the fish tank is a nice touch that m... read more Due to nit being able to award half stars I struggled to decide if this chippy deserved 3 or 4 stars, I have always thought the fish tank is a nice touch that makes me smile when frequenting this venue however after visiting through approx 15 years I feel the new staff are not very friendly,and the food quality has diminished. I thought I would end up being nice and giving 4 stars but in good conscience I don't feel it worthy. The chips were just okay (you will see on the photo I had battered chips, I actually order plain with all said i'm not that fussed about it it). I brought what they call a burger special which is basically a burger of your choice, some chips and a can of pop, I ordered a donner kebab burger who just regular chips. The sever was to the point however the absence of manners comes across on the rude side, I can imagine it is too taking to smile all day every day but say a simple thank you would go a long way I feel. In the past the staff would inform you to grab a can of pop out of the fridge however the new staff do not seem to feel it necessary to ivite/inform you to take a can and would be happy enough for you to leave without you selecting one. (Well over a decade I have been going there but not that frequent that the new staff know me). The quality of the food has dipped the kebab meat is harder and rubbery and tha salad was wilted as if it was starting to go off. Seavers have never been the cheapest chip shop which I never minded however as stated the quality of food and service is not great.
