Food was really great- so tasty. It was cooked fresh but this meant delays in it coming to the table which unfortunately wasnt explained at the time of ordering. Meal came out in bits- rice way before the curry which was disappointing. All food vegetarian and vegan. Woth some gluten free options too.
The menu and service at this restaurant were excellent. The dosa was delicious, light, and crispy, just perfect! The pani puri was a generous portion and it was fun to make them yourself.
We decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews we read here and online, but we were extremely disappointed. The dosa was greasy and flat, resembling a crepe. The naan bread was overly soft, as if it had been microwaved, and not of the quality you would find in a supermarket. Our starters were chilled, as if they had just been taken out of the fridge. Even my lemonade tasted like chemicals. It was clear why we didn't need to make a reservation on a Saturday night.
I loved this visit to the restaurant; they had all the classic South Indian dishes like sambhar idli, bhel poori, and masala dosa, all seasoned and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the menu had a wide variety of choices.
We went on the back of the reviews on here and online, but were sooo disappointed. the dosa was greasy and squeezed flat like a crepe, the naan brot was completely soft as it was microshaft (rough than the ones they get into the super market) and our appetizers were cooled as if they had been in the refrigerator. even my limonade tasted like chemicals. there is a reason why we didn't have to book on a Saturday night.
