Damascene is a fantastic little gem in the heart of MoseleyThere's quite a few independent Eastern European gems popping up in Birmingham now.
Tried this for the first time a few weeks ago, really beautiful decor in there.
Food very nice, but the kitchen forgot our order so we ended up waiting 40 minutes for our lunch.
Went as a group of four and found the food really nice. However the only reason it is four stars is because after we were seated and had ordered, we got told to move to another area because the table we were told to sit on was reserved. Found that a little rude because we shouldn’t have been told to sit there but other then that did enjoy the place and atmosphere.
1st time trying Syrian food and I must say its definitely worth a try. The service we received from Surah (supervisor from Edgbaston branch) is amazing, shes really cute and sweet thank you Surah .
