It was the decor th... read more I went for a drink here yesterday afternoon and I love the layout. My first thought was opium den, but I assure you the place was drug-free. It was the decor that gave me that thought. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were good. The ambience of the place is laid back and stylish and I’ll happily go back again.

The staff and customers were more than willing to make us all feel welcome and put up with our crazy family antics whilst playing board games and causing general mayhem. When I go in... read more This place is amazing, Andrea the morning host is brilliant. She knows her coffee better than anyone. She makes the best coffee I have ever tasted. When I go in I just say surprise me with a new drink and she never fails. I would have given 5 stars but because Andrea is not there on Monday, I have to go on Tuesday, starting my week without her amazing coffee.

It's a truly unique space that offers a seductive ambience; an ideal place to unwind and while away the hours. Black Lab offers an alternative backdrop to the standard pub, a gem of a place and one which I visit time and time again. Enjoy.
