Wonderful culinary discovery this evening in Bilbao. First of all, Marian's warm, smiling and elegant welcome puts you in the best position for an unprecedented discovery of Basque gastronomy. Throughout the meal, his wise advice, as discreet as it is sincere, gives you a unique experience. Then the kitchen. Ah, the kitchen; what a delight ! As a starter, we were tempted by scallops cooked to perfection as well as lamb gizzard in perfectly golden breadcrumbs. We then opted for a delicious Basque rib of beef cooked to perfection. The meat melted in the mouth. Finally, to end on a sweet note we opted for 3 desserts: the rice pudding had the gift of taking us back to childhood with its sweetness, the lost brioche was the perfect marriage between crispy texture and melting center, and finally the cheesecake was an absolutely immersive experience with its curiously salty appearance. In conclusion, I absolutely recommend this restaurant both for its excellent food and service.
