Very bad steak. We complained and the waiter kept laughing. He didnt get it Dont go very bad
Popped in on chance of getting a table as everywhere was packed. Plenty of room here and when we saw the prices we could see why! In our opinion way too expensive for the area the restaurant is. What we had was really nice but not worth the price. Service very average and had to go to the bar to pay the bill after waiting ten minutes after asking for the bill. On top of that, bread rolls were put on the table, then charged 1.20 euros per roll. Not a place we will re visit.
After visiting the Guggenheim, we decided to check out this place that Rick Steves had mentioned in his Spain travel guide. We had a few pinxtos but the stand out was the raciones of paella. We shared one and looked at each other and decided we wanted more because it was so tasty. The seasoning was done right with just enough saffron and having the chicken and sausage as well as some seafood made it so flavorful. We tried paella in many places and this was one of the few that knew what they were doing. Friendly staff and great location in the old town. Definitely worth checking out if you do a day trip from San Sebastián like we did to see the museum.
Good food. The pintxos were really good. Pricing seemed good. Service was most unfriendly, to the point of spoiling our visit. You need to find better staff.
Found this place for Pintxos at lunchtime. We returned that evening for dinner. We saw a 1kg slab of meat on the menu and gave that a wide berth. When we saw one being delivered whilst we were eating our steaks we decided then we would have to come back the next night to eat one. We did and was not disappointed. The fact that the meat is delivered to your table part cooked on a small BBQ for you to cook to your liking. What an experience.
