Nicolás is a traditional Basque restaurant, homemade and market cuisine, located in the village of bilbao (vizcaya). pil-pil-pil-pil and bizkain bad, foie-only, idiazabal rissoto fungus, natural vegetables sprinkled with iberries, creamy rice with foie and truffle mushrooms, lubine, sapitos, tongues, parrot juice on roasted red peppers
We had starters of croquettes and asparagus, followed by steaks and deserts. Although there weren't many diners at the time, the main course took quite a while to arrive. The food was good and the price quite fair.
As a huge tripe fan i came here to try the famous local version: Callos y Morros a la Vicaína! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I really loved the callos, it was really tasty and i really loved the texture too. I also had a really nice vermut which is the best drink for callos in my opinion. I spent a really nice time here with good food, good drink and a nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Thank you!
