I have visited this food some times and eating is nice. it is certainly not the cheapest restaurant, but among the natives that it has often, it has an excellen... read more I have visited this food some times and eating is nice. it is certainly not the cheapest restaurant, but among the natives that it has often, it has an excellent call. my last visit to juni was with three friends and we had. a nice meal on the terrace and they were pleasantly surprised. . the service was normal, somewhat expensive, but even a pleasant evening. concerning other reviews, I do not think that this restaurant is a tourist trap, as most of its customers live in front of location) only on the expensive side. Finally, I gave it 4 stars and not 5 due to its prices.

The woman behind the bar inside was indifferent if not verging on rude and the waiter was shifty. The food was pleasant enough though nothing exceptional,...not only were we charged for the bread but it was it was also removed from the table as soon as I had put my knife and fork down before I had had a chance to finish it. We felt we'd been ripped off and left with a bad taste

Before that was served they put 2 large pieces of bread at the table and due to the fact :...we were hungry of course we ate it. The owner( we think he was) seemed to dislike customers in our observations. Maybe tired after a weekend? Anyway, he did not give any kind impression to his guests. The oxtail was very good, but we are once again surprised the lack of vegetables in Spanish restaurants in Bilbao. It was zero-and we have also experienced next-to-nothing vegetables in other restaurants. Then the bill? And yes, there it was : 2 pieces of bread 1,50 EUR. I dislike it. At least they can offer it but point it out that it is not for free...

Really good restaurant in bilbao. on the expensive side, but worth it. we came here to dinner to celebrate my birthday together with my wife and a friend. the m... read more Really good restaurant in bilbao. on the expensive side, but worth it. we came here to dinner to celebrate my birthday together with my wife and a friend. the menu choice was excellent along with the wein. we shared a starter of revuelto boletus....Love for main dishes I had solomillitos buey con fois and my wife and friend had merluza. both decisions were delicious. we were treated with a puff bag with small chocolate buttons as desert. the only few after parts were the waiter seemed to pay attention to the fact that we had a good service, but on the other hand he was in a hurry and seemed to be transfixed with our table. just drop. the second question concerned the order of champagner. I asked the waiter if we could have mumm champagner on the glass. I'm afraid it wasn't possible. we never said we didn't worry. about 5 minutes later he came with an open bottle, about half full, by moet chandon in an ice cup. When we hadn't ordered it, it was assumed that he was taking a charge to the house. we thank him very much for the gestures. when the bill arrived, he paid €38 for the champagner. I paid the bill. we then spoke to the restaurant owner to make him aware of our feedback in the evening. he was a bit surprised and offered to compensate. overall it was a beautiful evening despite the champagne output.
