What Dr H1980 dislikes about Cafe Obrador Okapi:
This cafe is in a lovely little street in the old part of Bilbao. There are a few vegetarian options (hummus, mtabal, and falafels), but neither of the two dishes of the day were vegetarian. The croquettes were really nice, and very generous portions. Reasonably priced. The waiter wasn’t the friendliest we encountered in Bilbao. View all feedback.

From my favorite sites in the old hull! if you want to eat home is your place. If you want a good deal, it's your place. If you want to eat vegan, too. good terrace and very good attention from both the owner and the waiters. a place you always want to go back to, because you know there's not going to be a mistake.

We only called into this lovely cafe for coffee on the morning we were leaning Bilbao but wished we’d discovered it sooner! Situated on one of the oldest streets in the city the cafe is delightfully decorated with a modern, stylish feel to it. The staff were really very welcoming pleasant, speaking perfect English. Our coffee was fabulous, really hot, milky frothy. The menu looked nice as did the cakes pasties on the counter. It was very busy with locals, seemed dog friendly too as the Spanish family in the table next to us had an adorable terrier sitting with them.
