Asked for a cupuccino and got a coffe with milk and terrible chocolat syrup not online on top but all aroung the glass as well.
Lovely service and tasty food drink. Would definitely recommend vegan options too! Great location in the old town as well
This all-round cafe/bar serves one of the best breakfasts in the old town--just a few steps from the Casco Viejo metro station. We visited Bilbao for few days in June and tried other breafast options but the one served at Bettle was the best. There is a vegan option, but we ordered the Ingles, two eggs, rashes of bacon, bread with mashed tomatoes, an extra slice of bread, fresh orange juice and coffee of your choice. There is a pancake option too. As is usual in Spain, the counter also displayed freshly cooked tortilla and a range of sandwiches. The service was super friendly and all the breakfast options were very good value.
The breakfast was excellent. The service and staff very welcoming. Vegetarian or English breakfasts with a Spanish twist.
Good option for a cheery little breakfast in the middle of the old town (located on the corner of the square that has the Casco Viejo Metro stop). Compact cafe with outside seating too. Nice choice of pastries and sandwiches plus the usual drinks. Very friendly staff. Great value.
