What a find! Staying in Hartington we googled pubs near us and this gem was top of the list. The landlady was brilliant and her hospitality, beer, and food were fantastic. As she put it 'we 're a pub that sells food, not a restaurant that sells beer! Staying local so went to Waterloo In for Sunday Roast. We are not fussy eaters but the roast was the worst we'd had. 2 small roast potatoes, tiny bit of mash, lots of peas with a slithering of white cabbage, 2 frozen yorkshires impossible to cut and beef, tough and couldn't cut with the knife supplied. So disappointed. Left most of it. Website advertised £10.95 but charged £12.95. I hope their weekday meals are bette... View all feedback.
