Subway - Big Piney
Subway
Description
This small‑town sandwich shop delivers uneven experiences: when paced, sandwiches can be fresh and tasty, and staff have corrected mistakes courteously. However, many customers report inconsistent hours, priority given to online orders over in‑line patrons, missing condiments, frequent order errors and a tense, sometimes unprofessional atmosphere under management. Busy periods amplify mistakes. Locals find it hit‑or‑miss — good for a quick, inexpensive meal when everything clicks, but unreliable for dependable service.

I will not be returning to this restaurant. We arrived around 11 AM and found them clearly open, but we left without ever getting to eat or receiving any explanation. There were just two of us in line, and one person in front of us. We stood there for about 2 or 3 minutes, and after finishing with the customer ahead of us, the woman working simply covered the food with a glass and placed a sign stating “Sorry, Subway will be closed today” without saying a word. There was no apology or explanation; just a piece of paper. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed or what, but there were only two of us in line. It would have been acceptable if she had offered even a minimal explanation or an apology, but instead, she rudely dismissed us with a note. This experience felt extremely rude and unprofessional. I won't bother trying to return next time I'm in the area.
I was not served because of the manager's policy of prioritizing online orders over customers waiting in line. This happened 25 minutes before closing time. I, along with at least one other customer, was turned away.
Delicious sandwiches. Good service depends on who's working. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
