Was Anonym at The Vineyard Kitchen a mag?
We ventured out with friends to the Vineyard Kitchen on a cold July Sunday for lunch. We took the opportunity of a little wine tasting on the way in and our table close to the open fire was very welcome. I had the sardines as a starter which were ok, but nothing to rave about. For a main I had the spiced lamb and feta parcel which was very tasty. Creme Brulee for dessert which again was nothing really special. The res... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Vineyard Kitchen:
The place itself is beautiful but the staff and menu has much left to be desired. It wasn't crowded yet we weren't served for half an hour on arrival. Not even offered drinks first. When we were served, orders needed to be repeated and the waitress needed to leave twice to check with the chef. The drinks come quickly but it was another 45 minutes until the entrees came out and we didn't stay for the mains - not worth... View all feedback.

Lovely lush setting along a little creek for this restaurant and cellar door.

Amazing menu! We were even fighting over the kids toastiesThe wine tasting list is the first where I have enjoyed every item.

One of the great joys of being on mailing lists is the opportunity that a random emailed event can present.

The restaurant was able to accommodate us right before closing time. The whiting and beef cheeks were delicious. The coffee was exceptional compared to other restaurants. The staff were friendly and attentive. The surroundings and gardens were beautiful.

The appetizers had small portions, but the main courses were generously sized and tasty. The lamb was superior to the duck, and the chocolate pie dessert was delicious. I did not sample the wine, but the prices were fair for a quality bottle. The restaurant has a rustic and romantic ambiance, although I was not a fan of the cramped table next to the door.
