A delightful hidden gem with stunning views of the vineyard. We visited during the Anzac long weekend and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t overly crowded. There was just enough activity to create a lovely ambiance. Our host was knowledgeable and had a friendly, approachable manner. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary lunch, and they seated us in a quiet, sunny spot. We ordered a mezze board, and the food was fantastic, as were the wines. I highly recommend trying the wine tasting as well. I will certainly recommend this estate to family and friends and look forward to visiting again.
Lovely venue and wines just wish we had ordered the tapas and not the cheeses it cost us $43 for two very very small pieces of cheese some olives and bread and jam not that I would mind paying that but the size of the cheeses needs to be a bit bigger for that price Will try the tapas next time as that looked nice
What a delightful discovery this was today! We were fortunate enough to grab the best table in the house (#4) after a cancellation, and we also got the last of the homemade gluten-free bread to enjoy with our cheese and cured meats. If you think gluten-free bread is terrible, you need to try this one! Oh, and the wine was quite good too!
Popped in, unannounced with 8 family members from New Zealand last Sunday. Staff we very accommodating and had some nice GF options for some of our Family. Had a lovely late lunch, bought and tried some very tasty wines. We all bought wine, very rare, I personally bought a few Shiraz Viognier to enjoy back in Nelson NZ. Cheer's Team.
Cannot fault the service, wine or food. We rocked in as a group of 8 kiwi/aussies reunited after two years apart and in high spirits but without a booking. Despite being 5 mins from the kitchen closing time they reopened the kitchen for us and provided nothing but excellent, friendly service. They also had extensive options for food allergies. Highly recommended.
