We sat in the poorly decorated dining area and examined the overpriced menu without much interest. Eventually choosing something that seemed somewhat appetizing, I remarked to my companion that I would prefer eating elsewhere rather than spending $150 here. After being ignored by the waitress for about 10 minutes, we decided to take that as our cue to leave. It turned out to be the best decision we made all evening!

It was a busy evening as everything else, including the pub, was closed for dinner. Thankfully, we had made a reservation earlier in the day. Our family enjoyed a delicious meal, with the fresh boarfish being the highlight. The ambiance and friendly service added to our experience. While the prices were a bit high, as is typical in Bicheno, the portions were generous and well presented. After dinner, we took a stroll on the beach to watch the penguins returning to their nests after a day of fishing.

The carpaccio is good (try the coppa one for a change), the pizza is delicious, and the tiramisu is lovely. Everything is served quickly.
