Seahorse Restaurant - Bicheno

I recently dined at this restaurant which offers a casual dining experience with slightly higher prices. Despite the cost, the portions were generous and the service was quick and friendly. My party ordered the vegetarian fried rice without egg, stir-fried vegetables with bean curd, and a separate stir-fried vegetable dish. The server was knowledgeable about vegan options and recommended garlic and soy sauces for our meal.

The restaurant has a very laid-back atmosphere and is a bit more expensive. However, they offer good quality food and the service is fast and friendly. We tried the vegetarian fried rice (without egg) and stir-fried vegetables with tofu. There was also a roasted vegetable dish available. Don't overlook this little restaurant. The food was fantastic. We were in Bicheno off season and there was only one guy working - serving and cooking. Even with all the people, there were no delays and it was SO tasty.

The highlight of having a holiday is not having to cook and this restaurant had it all. Good food, great service and all at a price that didn't leave you feeling your empty wallet.

Stayed in Bicheno for 3 days, and dined here on our first night. Food is freshly cooked, really tasty and large serves. Service is friendly, with left over 'takeaway' welcome. Would recommend, and would eat here again. Loved it..
