typical osteria, to avoid if by nature you are passionate about the perfect restaurant, here of perfect there is only the hanging on the wall. excellent value for money and finally normal portions, and wine of the house very acceptable. Giretto in Bibbiena for the photographic exhibition in progress and I stopped here at lunch. I felt great! Place a bit 'vintage but I appreciated. Although the place was full, the service was fast. Very good the dishes taken... the sliced and the croutons of the appetizer and also the homemade pasta really tasty. The amazing price.. for everyone's pockets really. Too bad I live far away I'd be back soon.

It is my third experience, along with dear friends of Bibbiena, on the first October 2021, the next Easter of 2022. Bring abundant and good quality, friendly environment in the historic center of Bibbiena.
I was in this restaurant on the advice of a very kind guide met casually during the visit of Bibbiena. Both my husband and I prefer the most genuine and simple restaurants. We then welcomed the suggestion of the kind gentleman who enchanted the praises of this ancient Osteria. The food itself was not evil: the homemade pasta of the first noodles to the oxycin hare sauce included and tagliatelle to the tomato and basil the latter did not prevent) was acceptable, but there is certainly better. As a second we took two mixed salads. The vinegar they brought to you was of 1898, years of founding the hotel/restaurant: gone wrong is to say little. Good coffee, as well as the red wine of the house. But the thing that left us puzzled and amazed is the high degree of neglect of the place: the outer space, which could be so pleasant because well repaired by the heat and the sun, is presented with tables arranged mixed with a cluster of cianfrusaglie and foliage of the jasmine hedge that surrounds the dehor. The beautiful facade of the restaurant/hotel is very smooth and blackened by dirt in some places. Not to mention the toilet: washbasin clogged with stagnant water in bellavista, disposable towels nonexistent. The staircase, decorated, which leads to the bathroom, all crumbled. The impression is of dirt, neglect and non-existent care. And these days, in a place that proposes food, it is not acceptable.
Every now and then I'll go back because he's really good. The abundant and always very good courses, the pasta is homemade and the classic menu but with a lot of choice. This place is very characteristic, it looks like an old trattoria, loved by locals and tourists looking for a place different from the classic restaurants.
