Depot Diner truly exceeded our expectations by accommodating our group of nine on a busy Saturday at 11 a.m. Our waitress was warm and attentive, and every dish arrived exactly as requested—hot and tasty. The coffee was a pleasant surprise, too! Later, when two more guests joined us, the staff quickly and smoothly divided the bills so each group could pay on their own. I’m really impressed not just by the delicious food but also by the outstanding service and kindness shown by the manager and team.

We used the app to join the waitlist, but I’d suggest calling ahead instead. Depot Diner is very popular and can have a wait during peak hours. Although the host didn’t initially have our names on the list, they managed to seat us since we’re regulars, which was impressive given there was a large group of 30 waiting behind us. I enjoyed fresh fruit with my BLT, and we took a Boston cream pie home. Overall, it was another fantastic experience.

The food at Depot Diner was excellent, although we had to wait quite a while for a table. Thankfully, they provide an online waitlist, which made the process much easier.

Depot Diner is the place to go when you're in Beverly. The breakfast here is fantastic! The veggie omelette and home fries were delicious, and the banana nut pancakes were divine! They were freshly made and incredibly satisfying. Oh my goodness! It's definitely worth the trip, no matter where you're coming from.

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant since it’s conveniently located just across the street from our apartment. I was intrigued by their gluten-free toast options, but I suddenly found myself craving a salad. When I asked our waiter for his recommendations, he suggested either the gorgonzola salad or the steak tip Greek salad. I opted for the Greek salad, which came with a creamy Greek dressing and medium-cooked steak. It was a massive portion, and the steak was incredibly tender and flavorful. I ended up saving the large pita bread and two pieces of steak for later. My husband chose the blueberry pancakes and remarked how delicious they were, even without syrup! I also ordered hot water with lemon, and when I asked for a refill, I was promptly given a fresh cup. The restaurant's interior caught my eye as well, decorated with train images and paintings on bright yellow walls, which nicely reflects the “depot” theme suggested by its name. Overall, it’s a lovely place with friendly staff and delicious food!
