I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and finding one that serves well-cooked, decent food. The steak and chicken were both overcooked, and the service was lacking. It appears that management does not care about the quality of the food or service. Carluccios used to be a great restaurant, but since new ownership took over, it has declined rapidly.
The atmosphere was great and the staff was very attentive. The only downside was that when I ordered a tuna salad, it arrived without any tuna. We all found it amusing and had a good laugh.
We sat outside on a beautiful warm evening and received excellent service. I ordered the polpetta di fagioli, a delicious 'beanball' made with pine nuts and other ingredients. My partner had the bean and avocado salad, which was fresh, filling, and well-presented. For dessert, we enjoyed the blueberry and polenta cake. The vegan options at this restaurant are not only healthy but also imaginative and tasty. I highly recommend a visit. As of September 2019, they now offer a vegan croissant for breakfast, which is very tasty and served with a delicious compote.
