Finished my meal and made it p... read more Went on a reasonably quiet Thursday night and the food I can't complain about at all. The service on the other hand was shocking. Finished my meal and made it pretty obvious we was waiting for our bill for around 20 minutes. Only to be ignored as one of the young lads and working ignored everyone and just talked to someone. After asking for my bill he said yes I'll get someone and proceeded to talk. Ontop of my issues another table kept asking for the coats to leave and got the exact same response. So fed up I went into the back area and there was about 6 workers stood doing nothing all chatting. Then after finally getting the bill I had to near enough chance the young lad down just to pay

Whilst the meal was excellent we are very grateful to Amy who teased out of us what we were celebrating and went out of her way to make the evening even more special. Had the set lunch, meatball starter eight large ones in a strong source and day fresh italian bread, was like a main course. Had a main of belly pork bursting with flavour, well rendered and crispy, vibrant source. The staff we're attentive and just right on service, the ambience was refined and a cosy setting. It turned out to be just a lovely little experience and I paid the service charge, I never do that because everything was just faultless
