It's super sweet inside. It was an old bank and the dining area is near the windows that are cute. It is dark inside, but has a wonderful date nightlife on it. The food and drinks were amazing. We have the truffle Mac and cheese we both loved! Can not eat much of it, so recommend sharing it. The falafel tacos were our favorite and filling. We also share the salmon sliders that came with one side, they were delicious,... View all feedback.
What Madaline Gusikowski doesn't like about The Mint:
it was very excited to try the mint, but it was so disappointing. we had a reservation, waited 15 minutes to sit, no big thing I get it busy. when we were sitting, we waited for 45 minutes for a blessing to come to us. we just wanted to go when the server finally came. our escaped came out first and our appetizer came last. to round off everything, I had raw chicken in my pasta, that was room temp. all that and still... I would have given Mint 4 stars for the food because I had one of the biggest and most delicious hamburgers I've had in a long time.
This place was goodNot amazing, but definitely not badThey had some creative items on the menu and the meal presentation is really nice.

We have the truffle Mac and cheese we both loved! Can not eat much of it, so recommend sharing it. The falafel tacos were our favorite and filling. We also share the salmon sliders that came with one side, they were delicious, but the other two dishes were better. We would definitely come back for a date night or with friends. I got the bee mix drink that tasted like grapefruit and was a nice half-sweet.
The atmosphere was very nice and the menu was extensive and interesting, however. The reality was that they have major growing pains. They were out of one the easiest menu items,:chicken. They hade trouble supporting our table of 4 people. They delivered two of the meals after 1/2 hour of ordering them but they took another 1/2 hour to deliver the other two meals. Their comment was that it took longer to make pasta. We tried to get our check so we could leave but our waiter was missing. I had to go into the kitchen to get him. In total, it took over 3 hours from start to finish for our meal. This is a restaurant that I will reluctantly cross off our list.
We dined here for the first time on 12/14. We are locals and have always wanted to try it. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience with the manager. We are wine drinkers and I ordered a glass of Moscato which I drink frequently. The Moscato was flat and bitter as if the bottle had been open and sitting around for quite some time. We told the waitress and I then ordered a sprite. The sprite then came and was carbonated water, the syrup had run out. My husband waved over the manager and explained what had happened. The manager apologized but then said Technically, Moscato is supposed to be flat in a snarky manner. As a manager of a restaurant, he should have a strong knowledge of wine. Moscato is a sparkling/bubbly sweet wine. Our server was good. We were disappointed that there was no Chef 's Big Plate available. Our meal was OK. The crab and artichoke dip was by far the best. The pork belly appetizer (Sushicharron) was very dry. I ordered the Housemade Crab Cake which as per the menu was supposed to be jumbo lump crabmeat mixed with light breadcrumbs and it was definitely not as described or what you would expect. It was fried/breaded, filled with minced crab and cold inside. At this point, it was not worth saying anything as we were completely put off by the manager. We know this place has a great reputation but unfortunately last night it seemed like amateur night. We found it hard to believe that the manager of an establishment such as this does not know the nuances of wine. Either he is blatantly uninformed or he does not care. We hope in the future that he does not treat/undermine other patrons the way he did last night.
