The OpenTable system doesn't integrate very well with some restaurant booking systems, which led to some issues with getting the table we wanted. However, the staff was helpful, and the food was enjoyable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Arkle Manor:
I opted for the chicken Milanese, but the tomato sauce was dry, if there was any at all. The meal was overcooked and came out looking unappetizing, with a sprinkle of something brownish on top. There were no desserts offered, which felt like a strange oversight. My wife’s starter, camembert, was smaller than usual and poorly presented.

Regular visitor, still very good food, service and ambiance.
Lovely Sunday lunch, food was tasty and service was friendly
Service was slow but friendly. It was a Tuesday and very few diners were present.
We have dined at The Arkle Manor, quite often and we are well known to the manager and waiters/ waitresses. We have always had a good experience.
The Sunday roast beef which my husband asked for, and told the waiter he would like it very rare even raw rather than overlooked, when it arrived it was dry and curled up at the edges as if it had been kept warm for hours. The plate was quickly removed and another replaced it the meat was not pink but just not rare in any way. If it is not possible to cook the joint in a way to have it rare it should be written on the menu, so that you can make an alternate choice. The mushroom starter was very small. The lobster pot very nicely presented but not a lot of lobster flavour. The fried Brie excelent? We didn't eat until 2.30pm perhaps it's better to eat earlier.
