We dropped in for a late lunch while out exploring. We had the special French Dip and eggplant subs. Both were delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. Be sure to try a cannoli too. The chocolate chip was my favorite. Definitely recommend. View all feedback.
What Fernanda Justin D doesn't like about La Cappellas:
Staff might be nice, but the food is just plain horrible. Can't say anything nice about the food really, which is sad. We came here based on reviews and they are all very misleading or people has never had decent (not even talking about good) Italian food before. We ordered the fried ravioli and the cheese bread as apps. Meh. I decided to go with the soup (minestrone) because it seemed impossible to screw up soup. We... View all feedback.
Our first time going to La Capella’s and we’re happy we did. The relaxed atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service is great, the staff is caring and attenuative. We had the Godfather sandwich, with broccoli soup and the lemon and chocolate chip cannoli for dessert. Delicious.
Loved the food! Staff was awesome as well!!! The place is a bit of a hole in the wall (you literally order food from a window in a wall) and the place is filled with standard tables and chairs that you’d find set up for a community center, but don’t be fooled by the initial appearance, the place is awesome!! I hope that you guys can get your own building soon, and I can see the place growing in the near future!
We loved it here. The service was absolutely amazing!! The food was incredible!! Glad we picked this place out!! If we are ever in town again we will definitely go back. Our server was amazing and made our visit perfect!
Hands down, best sandwiches around. Well worth what they cost. Also, the panna cotta is delicious!! I like that they switch up the dessert options. Super sad that they're closing at the end of this month.
Great Service and some of the Best Lasagna I’ve had in a very long time! Noticed a lot of people getting to go orders. We dined in and watched all the big plates coming out of the kitchen. Crescent City’s best kept secret.
