We serve flame-grilled lawn food cooked over what’s likely the largest privately owned barbecue in the southern hemisphere. Our menu features plenty of fresh veggies, wholesome grains, and adventurous invasive species-meats. And while they prefer to keep it low-key, we have to mention: our hot chippies are seriously good. Find us on the Mona lawns, Mona, open Friday to Monday, generally from 12 to 3 pm—though times can vary. Looking for something a bit more refined? The Source Restaurant offers elevated dining on site, but remember, booking is required. For a blend of art, eats, and drinks, visit Faro Bar Restaurant—also on site and booking needed. Moorilla Wine Bar and Void Bar are there too, offering cocktails, pizza, and a welcoming atmosphere, each with its own character. Come for the fire-cooked food, stay for the atmosphere, and enjoy everything the site has to offer.

The food, location, and service were all outstanding, especially when paired with my Moo Brew IPA. Definitely worth a stop for lunch before heading back on the Mona Roma. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
