The menu at Lokal Bern changes often, so check the menu on the internet before you go. I had a green salad with couscous, and as a main dish, a spider steak with sweet potato salad. The spider steak is a cut from the upper part of the hind leg of the beef. It is not a tender cut and contains sinews that are almost crunchy. I would say it is something for food enthusiasts who seek culinary adventures. The sweet potato salad contained a lot of green beans and came with a creamy dressing. The staff was very friendly and explained the offerings of Lokal Bern in detail. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will go there again.
