We stopped into Akatz when we were visiting the fishing village/town of Bermeo. This is a nice tapas bars, near the park and the visitor centre. We had some rea... read more We stopped into Akatz when we were visiting the fishing village/town of Bermeo. This is a nice tapas bars, near the park and the visitor centre. We had some really good coffee, and tea from an iron teapot. We also had some really high quality tapas, in the regional style of everything served with toothpicks or skewers. The prawns were is a wonderfully spiced seafood sauce, and served with a soft baguette. The decor was basic, but the service good, and the seafood really wonderful especially at its very reasonable price. Well worth checking out if in the town.

I had come here precisely because I had read very good opinions of the site, but no more. They won't answer you outside, and you have to warn that they'll pick you up the table from the previous one and they'll come in and ask. the area is pleasant and the right pintxos and not very expensive
