It really is quality, home-cooked food that you order at the counter -- a great break from overwhelming restaurant food that the more touristy places have. Everyone in our group agreed it was our favorite meal in Berlin.

The food is displayed in a showcase ready to take away or to eat inside or at the tables outside. I tried the lasagne and salad. I have also tried the "Königsberger Klopse" ( german meatballs ) also good. Lots of vegetarian options. Good value for money.

En relación calidad precio, muy recomendable. El restaurante cierra a las 9.

Service is simply horrible, not welcoming and sooo slow, destroys the experience. One thing that made m... read more The food was really delicious and clearly prepared with a lot of care. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. One thing that made me feel uncomfortable, however, was a camera mounted on top of a fridge that was moving around during our visit. While I understand the need for security, the constant movement felt intrusive and made it harder to relax. I’m also not sure how lawful this is in Germany, where data protection is taken very seriously. Overall, it’s a place with great food and very good service, but I hope the issue with the camera can be reconsidered so guests can feel more at ease.
