The... read more We had a wonderful experience at the Greek restaurant File Asto. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the wine excellent, and the food deeply comforting. The cooked dishes were rich and satisfying, while the taffas dishes were fresh and vibrant. Everything felt thoughtful and genuine, a place that invites you to slow down and enjoy. Even though we do not live in Berlin, this is a place we will remember and be happy to return to. It was the most pleasant and delicious place we visited in Germany.

Service is simply horrible, not welcoming and sooo slow, destroys the experience. One thing that made m... read more The food was really delicious and clearly prepared with a lot of care. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. One thing that made me feel uncomfortable, however, was a camera mounted on top of a fridge that was moving around during our visit. While I understand the need for security, the constant movement felt intrusive and made it harder to relax. I’m also not sure how lawful this is in Germany, where data protection is taken very seriously. Overall, it’s a place with great food and very good service, but I hope the issue with the camera can be reconsidered so guests can feel more at ease.

I took tzatziki, grilled feta and a bread plate — tooo enough for one. but maybe it is just not my format of eatery with small plates and etc. additionally want to highlight the wine card — gorgeous. have been in Greece and can assure you that it is quite hard to find a good wine there. so, this list is really amazing and tastes good. my personal recommendation — Tetramythos Roditis Orange.

We arrived, it was cold outside, yet we were directly offered to seat at the lonely table in front of the entrance or this bar against the wall. I asked to be seated inside the main room, they accepted but there was always some remark regarding splitting tables, very complicated. Honestly I find it unacceptable to arrive at a place which doesn’t accept reservations and be pointed to the worse possible seats. I wonder if other people were treated like this. Despite anything place was never full, food and wine was ok. Unfortunately I don’t intend to set foot in this place again.
