Ad una... read more Trovato per puro caso, avendo affittato un appartamento nella via principale di Prenzlauer Berg. Aperto a tutte le ore, pesce fresco e di ottima qualità. Ad una certa ora del pomeriggio c'è l'"happy hour", in cui certi piatti di sushi vengono pagati la metà e la quantità di essi, invece, raddoppia. Sono riuscita a mangiare 36 pezzi a soli 19euro. Possibilità di mangiare seduti per terra. Strepitoso!

All the fish varieties they have are tuna, salmon and cooked shrimp, so no difference there. The fish however, is mostly decent and devoid of the chewey and sinuouey fish cuts that other places serve up. The fish to rice ratio is not great, with the rice ball much too large for the fish on top. Also they only serve the very salty "red soy sauce. So overall, the place does not even come close to the Japanese originals. However at €15 for a platter of 20 pieces one really cannot complain too much. If you are desperate for sushi/maki but cannot afford Sakura or get in die to long lines stop by at Yama to get your fix.

We visited on a beautiful summer evening and ate at one the tab... read more The Yama is located in the wonderful Prenzlauer Berg and the restaurant is pretty unpretentious. We visited on a beautiful summer evening and ate at one the tables outside. The sushi was very nice and very affordable. For 4 people (2 adults + 2 children) we paid around €45 including drinks which is very reasonable for sushi.Would be happy to return next time I am in the area.

The lunch offers are also very tasty, I eat regularly curry-coconut milk sauced salmon for the lunch. For dinner I have either sushi or Seafood Udon. The staff are very friendly, food arrives before you realize it, you really don't wait long. We tried many other asian restaurants, but so far, Yama is our favorite in Prenzlauer Allee. Must go there to have a low priced-good quality food.
