Meaning you WILL meet people, even if you don’t want to. But all that doesn’t matter, because the Burgers are amazing. Not too greasy like and...with a great variety and even a secret menu (try the New York Burger). I love this joint. I’ve never taken a first bite there without going MMMMMHHHH from deep within, the Double Bacon with Cheese is THAT good! Seriously.

If you want to taste a true American style drive-in burger and fries, this IS the place in Berlin. Lots of great burgers in Berlin, but WindBurger is my favorite. I always get a bacon-double-cheese burger with cheese fries. It...has everything a classic American burger should have on it, and nothing else: Smash-gridle beef patties, schmalzkase (American cheese), tomaten, salat, zwielbeln, special sauce, gurken, zweibeln, on a plain white sesame bun. Damn tasty, and, inexpensive as hell! Berlin in known for being surprisingly affordable (except for rent and real estate), but Windburger is very affordable! I don't mind paying more money for quality/quantity, and I hate to say this...but Windburger should increase menu prices! I want this business to survive, and maybe expand!

And truly, this is the bes... read more I visited this burger joint based on a friend's recommendation, who described it as having an outstanding price to performance ratio. And truly, this is the best burger I have eaten in Berlin when considering the price and the quality. Unfortunately, the downside of this popularity is the very long queue in the evenings. I also ordered the chicken nuggets, which met my expectations as well. The interior design is minimal. It’s the kind of place where you just eat and leave. The biggest negative, which I sadly can't comprehend as we head into 2026, is that the venue is Cash Only. This is a major drawback.
