The options for vegans should be mentioned in the menu the service was having lack of intimacy, was a bit plain. The vegan option zucchini bread was a little dry and not that tasty tho Not allowed to work with computers that is actually nice tho, but be aware. Card payments were allowed that was nice. They did not have hot chocolate not a big problem, but that was my only option for drink. Found it much later in another place.
I’m a big fan of Wilke. The interior is simple and beautiful, staff very friendly and food tasty (and not your usual boring avocado toast... . 4 stars because could use some more vegan options, especially with sweets but definitely recommended!
Wilke is a really sweet, thoughtful, and pretty place with lots of vegan options in their vegetarian menu. For me the courgette bread is a winner crunchy caramelisation on top and soft and delicious inside they bake them in house. The people working there are always so nice and speak both German and English. The coffee is the only thing that’s slightly hit or miss a tiny bit acidic in the morning for my personal taste but I have been told that could be while the machine is warming up. In the afternoon it is usually really good. They have oat milk, bathrooms, a terrace, a large back area, and a minimalist bare wood sort of vibe. The only reason for four over five stars is the inconsistency of the coffee (again only for my taste it might be just how you like it! . They are also unlucky with he building works on the street but hopefully that is gone soon (though you never know with Neukolln
I had a bowl that was super tasty lots of perfectly cooked healthy ingredients. The brownie was a bit dry though. Staff was super friendly.
