Other... read more It's only once in a while that we find sushi that we love outside of Asia, and this is one of them. Their nigiri was superb and the whole family loved it. Other dishes are equally excellent. Each order is only for around 10 Euros. The fact that this restaurant is located inside Berlin HBF is a plus, as we get to drop by every time we change trains or rest for the night, as our hotel is just very near the train station.

If you don't have time you can choose from the "carroussel" with small portions with different kinds of japanise dishes or you can seat and ask for some "combo", that is cheaper and as good as the other option. They als have japanise bier, that is light (soft) and perfect for sunny days. The place is nice, very clean, the fish was fresh and the food taste. Is a good but not the best place for sushi.

I ordered "marinated tuna" sushi rolls, expecting - as one might do in a sushi restaurant - to have fresh fish. But no, the tuna came completely disguised in some kind of spicy mush, surrounded by stale rice. I'm not even sure there was any tuna in there. It was impossible to taste any, anyway...When I complained to the waitress, she was extremely rude and abrupt, saying "it's what you ordered" even though it was not described as such in the menu. I couldn't eat it, made it clear that I was not happy, but they charged me anyway. Terrible service.Avoid!
