I suggest not to ordering the moving dishes. There were definitely expensive and looked not fresh! It looked like those food have been put for hours! It was a bit understaff as well. Otherwise, everything was still acceptable but I recommend moving dishes shouldn't be overpriced really. It's a tourist trap if you don't know how to order it correctly then you have to pay a lot for food! View all feedback.

We just came for lunch in this place, we order Ocha , the waiter didn't knew, the Sushi chef didn't understand what is Ocha, so ok fine, they are not Japanese then so we are not expecting a good Japanese sushi then. So we just order all sushi from the menu, the taste is flat, the rice quality is not so good for Sushi.the waiter not so friendly, all look fake n cheap, they should just cooked Chinese food than messing... We wanted something not so heavy and the carrousel selection got us started...We then realized we could order off of a menu which we did. The sashimi and nigiri selections were excellent. We realized the men behind the counter spoke no English or German but the manager does so service was excellent after that point.
It's only once in a while that we find sushi that we love outside of Asia, and this is one of them. Their nigiri was superb and the whole family loved it. Other dishes are equally excellent. Each order is only for around 10 Euros. The fact that this restaurant is located inside Berlin HBF is a plus, as we get to drop by every time we change trains or rest for the night, as our hotel is just very near the train station.
Nice place but a litlle bit expensive. If you don't have time you can choose from the "carroussel" with small portions with different kinds of japanise dishes or you can seat and ask for some "combo", that is cheaper and as good as the other option. They als have japanise bier, that is light (soft) and perfect for sunny days. The place is nice, very clean, the fish was fresh and the food taste. Is a good but not the best place for sushi.
I never expect too much in a railway station, but this place didn't seem to bad. How wrong could I be! I ordered "marinated tuna" sushi rolls, expecting - as one might do in a sushi restaurant - to have fresh fish. But no, the tuna came completely disguised in some kind of spicy mush, surrounded by stale rice. I'm not even sure there was any tuna in there. It was impossible to taste any, anyway...When I complained to the waitress, she was extremely rude and abrupt, saying "it's what you ordered" even though it was not described as such in the menu. I couldn't eat it, made it clear that I was not happy, but they charged me anyway. Terrible service.Avoid!
The sushi in this place is very fresh and tasty. However if you are not able to get the special lunch offer (3 euros for each plate), then it might be somewhat expensive. I guess is the price for being in the Berlin Hauptbahnhof.
