The... read more We where nine people and where looking for a good food experience in Kreuzberg. The facility was beautiful but the outdoor furniture was poor and worn down. The menu was expensive and did not at all live up to the price. The lemon chicken was...very sour, the risotto was more like rice with topping and the steaks vegetables was over steamed. Sad last night in Berlin!

L... read more Spindler is on one of Berlin's most beautiful streets along the canal. Sitting outside in Summer is so beautiful. Beautiful people, big beautiful green trees. Lots of action on the canal. It's nice to have cocktails in the sun. The cocktails on the weekends are...really good. The steak is really great! Most of the food is nice. Very expensive, but nice. Only thing is, the staff. There's an older lady, the floor manager who will stress you out every time. She is forgetful, anxious, running around like mad, and always makes you feel uncomfortable. There's another young girl who is down right rude, and has on a number of occasions forgotten things from our order, blamed the kitchen, bitched about them to us, and still charged us for it. Last week I just had enough. Might be back next summer if they are not! https

Upon asking, we were told we could only sit outside, as all the tables inside... read more I was looking for a nice breakfast spot this afternoon and found this lovely café. Upon asking, we were told we could only sit outside, as all the tables inside were reserved. The coffee was served, but we had to wait a while for the food. The croque monsieur was quite good, but the side salad was heavily seasoned with a spice mix that was unfortunately a bit too strong. Nevertheless, a lovely location and friendly service.
