After 2 unfortunate visits there in succession (Summer/Augen 2019) we have given our long-term favourite restaurant a new chance that it has used very well in 2... read more After 2 unfortunate visits there in succession (Summer/Augen 2019) we have given our long-term favourite restaurant a new chance that it has used very well in 2020. the friendly-presente service was - finally well and unobtrusively monitored (also did not give a reason to complain), that eating was again very good and the kitchen worked again faster than in almost empty restaurant at the last visit. in this form remains or is it again a good recommendation for increased requirements for a beautiful location with new seats; only the more and more and most recently predictable pricing limits here a more frequent visit.

Except for us, there... read more We were there for the goose menu and found it very pleasant. we had 3 walks and the operation as well as the porcellan we liked very well. Except for us, there was only one more couple there, so you had to talk a little quieter, otherwise the other would have got everything along. in principle we were very surprised how small the restaurant is, but what should not be a minus point. only the portions I found quite large for three passages, I hardly managed to make the dessert.

Some of the staff were trainees from the Hotel Estrel; they were very attentive and always available. Parking, limited due to roadworks, was available on the other side of the castle grounds. The restaurant was reached via a short path through the animal enclosures. A guided tour of the castle is highly recommended.
