My first Croatian restaurant . Very tasty and great generous portions, even the small portion!
The food wasn't cooked through yet, the service was very unfriendly, the only thing I can rate positively is the ambience, it was nice and quiet but the rest wasn't good, no reason to come there

Yes, we were there for the third time yesterday and were very disappointed. 3 carved all from the friteuse bratkartoffeln went the pommes at number 2 were papig and the rice at number three was cold. that the specially ordered caves were forgotten and almost came with the last piece of carving. the two times before the carvings and swaging were made from the pan and not in the frit. even only the amount of food could be paid over ec, the tip was said so, can no longer be coking, otherwise the money would not be the same? everything in one case, so we find three of rutow, the shame.
The restaurant Split has its own details since 1975. An ancient Croatian restaurant we had heard a lot of good. Since Mariendorf is in our activity radius, we looked at the place. The first visit on a Saturday evening, beginning of January. The place was well visited, apparently a Christmas celebration of a larger group took place. The volume level was somewhat higher. There was only a large room for the guests. We found a table. With the noise level we could live, he was still tolerable. We were kindly greeted and immediately received the menus. We're going to get some specialties from the lava stone grill. There is a wide selection of them; we saw several grill plates in different sets. Finally, we were joined; we took two different grill plates. There are also some dishes, a carving card, steaks, fish and a dessert selection. The smaller hunger was also thought of. Extra dishes are offered. Prices were average. Served portions that were barely to be created. On drinks there were Kindl Jubilee Pils and Märkischer Landmann vom Fass; Croatian wines and spirits. Beverage prices were also average. The meat from the lava stone grill tasted excellent, we were both very tanned. The qualitative difference to meat prepared on a “normal” grill was clear. The supplements were neat: Djuvecreis, who was not as red as usual in many places, contained a lot of vegetables; even those of me not very much appreciated fries. The second visit took place again on a Saturday night. This time it was not so full, but some guests were present. Again we took barbecue dishes. A mixed plate for my companion, I tried a pleskavica filled with sheep cheese. I could feed it! A huge chop steak filled with a lot of sheep cheese and again superlecker. We all experienced the waiters friendly and accommodating. The ambience seemed inviting. The restaurant was set up almost 40 years ago, only it was probably refurbished over the years. I admired the beautiful chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. The ladies' room was redesigned a few years ago. Supermodern, in bright colors, with a kind of washbasin as a washbasin, along with an opening for throwing in paper towels. In summer you can sit on the terrace. Only the Rixdorfer Straße passes, it could be a bit loud. We will occasionally test this. Overall we were served by the restaurant and can recommend it for a visit, especially for lovers of barbecue dishes.

Speciality is the lavasteing grill, which gives the grill dishes a special, delicious taste. on recommendation of colleagues and positive reviews on the Eigelb and elsewhere we visited the restaurant Split, which we often passed, several times. there is a small, partly covered terrace in front of the restaurant. Among other things, different variations of grill plates, as well as pot and cup dishes such as Muckalica and Satarasch (but I have not yet tasted) update 15.02.2015: I have already spoken several times the satarasch (pronounced with paprika and i) is delicious. only a small warning: once the waiter asked me if I wanted to have it sharply. Wonderful, relaxed, cozy atmosphere with excellent staff and delicious food. Perfect for afternoon or evenings with the family.
We enjoyed dinner here. that was great and we appreciate the accommodations for our four children. my only complaint was the side of the frozen veggies (not really disturbing me too much) and the lack of air conditioning. we paid cash.
