After I had never been to oxymoron before this was an attempt, my partner and I were in the city and enjoyed the early summer weather, why not adventurous? afte... read more After I had never been to oxymoron before this was an attempt, my partner and I were in the city and enjoyed the early summer weather, why not adventurous? after studying the menu and realization they had some good vegan options that we decided to. late lunches are coming early in the evening. albeit only for outside seats, the venue looked beautiful, we were approached by a charismatic waiter and we looked through the objects. first of course for drinks my partner decided to make a Shirley temple and I went for the homemade lemonade as neither of us drink alcohol. When they arrived, the Shirley Temple looked pretty impressive, while my ice was and what was advertised. Although it was good, I have to mention that. both my partner and I chose the vegan conchiglie with asparagus both white and green in cocosnusssauce. that sounds pretty, but when it arrived, the waiter had already eaten half of it, it was this miniscule amount at the bottom of the rather large pasta bowl, with a dibbel of cocoss sauce, now I have to give credit where credit is due, it tasted phenomenal and all that there was tasted delicious. the conchiglie was perfect al dente, the economical was tastefully crisp with a pulsating fresh taste, the sosse was beautiful and more crumbled, though a too thin. However, this was very the idea of the finer ess- plush environment, high prices, but nothing much to show for them in terms of value. for a piece that was quite the demolition, it seems oxymoron want to attract a certain clientele, as bertie the banker, tony the tax avoider and his wife penelope most proper, but even if with the fat of the country in their purses and offshore tax havens, the return for even this investment, should be a bit more than what we have. as others were diner on gloomy, my partner noticed how much smaller they were, so we skipped. the other problem was the service, a woman next to me had a problem with her order, but after repeated attempts she could not keep from a waiter for at least ten minutes, the waiter we had served was continuous with his back to the dining terrace, while chatting at the barmann inside and the second waiter was in and out so fast, it was akin to a game of natural and natural whac-a-mol. yes, it is a wonderful city square, neat and tidy and eating is skillfully cooked, but with the prospective stuck in the top below that should stay in the movies and/or netflix, not the maus size portions for lion prizes.
